Jessie coaxed from the recesses of my imagination a vision for my studio that I didn't know I had. What had once been nothing but a junk room became a beautiful artist's studio that is my sanctuary, my meditation room, the place where I spend much of my time painting, relaxing, and enjoying my quiet time. The problem

We own a lake cabin with my husband’s family. The lake and the woods make my soul sing — I feel deeply connected to the land itself. But inside the house, I never truly felt like I belonged.
